Thailand are aiming to reach the last 16 of the FIVB Women's World Championship, which will take place later this month.
The championship will be held from Aug 22-Sept 7, with the preliminary phase taking place in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima and Phuket.
With less than a week to go before the start of the championship, coach Kiatipong Ratchatakriengkrai said the morale within the team is high.
"We have no injury worries and the players are determined to do well and reach the last 16 of the World Championship," he said.
"The team have been developing continuously since the beginning of the year. The players have improved physical condition, resulting in better technical performance.
"The players are now focusing more on the technical details of serving, receiving serves, receiving spikes and blocking. These areas of the game are key in dealing with our opponents in Pool A, including Egypt, Sweden and the Netherlands.
"We analyse their statistics in the Nations League to maximise the benefits of training. The warm-up match against China will be an important test to assess the team's readiness. It will also play a part in determining the final 14 players for the World Championship," he added.
First-time hosts Thailand are in Pool A along with the Netherlands, Sweden and Egypt for the championship. They will play all their matches at Bangkok's Indoor Stadium at Hua Mark.
Thailand will face Egypt in the opening match on Aug 22. The second match against Sweden will take place on Aug 24, while the final match against the Netherlands will be on Aug 26.
All of Thailand's matches will start at 8.30pm and will be live on PPTV HD.
This year's championship features 32 teams, divided into eight pools of four.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to the knockout phase.
