ONE Championship has added another blockbuster fight for its big return to Bangkok’s Impact Arena on January 24.
It will be legend versus legend, as Thailand’s Seksan Or Kwanmuang takes on Myanmar veteran Soe Lin Oo at ONE 170.
“Crazy fight!” commented ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
The 142lbs catchweight Muay Thai matchup bolsters an already stacked card topped by two huge title fights.
Tawanchai PK Saenchai will put his featherweight Muay Thai title on the line against Superbon for the second time, following their instant classic last December at Lumpinee Stadium.
In the co-main event, Scotland’s Nico Carrillo will look to snatch the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai belt from all-conquering Superlek Kiatmoo9.
The 35-year-old Seksan – nicknamed “The Man Who Yields To No One – is riding a second-round TKO victory over retiring British icon Liam Harrison at ONE 168 in Denver last month.
It saw him return to winning ways after a first loss in nine fights since beginning his ONE Friday Fights journey, five months prior.
“Man of Steel” Oo, 32, is coming off a first defeat under the ONE banner, a decision loss to No 5-ranked bantamweight Nabil Anane last month.
Previously, the Burmese star had three knockout wins in as many fights since debuting at ONE Lumpinee in February 2024.
January's event will see ONE Championship stage its first card at the 12,000-seat Impact Arena since June’s ONE 167.
Scenes will also be filmed for a new Hollywood blockbuster, “The Beast In Me”, which stars Academy Award winner Russell Crowe.
The film’s plot centres around an MMA fighter, played by Australia’s Daniel MacPherson and coached by Crowe’s character, coming out of retirement in ONE Championship.
